The Southwest Supervised Parenting Alliance (SWSPA) is governed by a dedicated and experienced Board of Directors. Our Board members are volunteers who bring a diverse range of expertise, passion, and commitment to our mission of advancing safe and professional supervised parenting time services in the Southwest region.

They play a critical role in guiding SWSPA's strategic direction, ensuring financial stewardship, upholding our standards and values, and advocating for the needs of families and supervised visitation professionals.

Board Responsibilities

The SWSPA Board of Directors is responsible for:

  • Strategic Planning: Setting the long-term vision and goals for SWSPA.
  • Governance & Oversight: Ensuring SWSPA operates ethically, transparently, and in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Stewardship: Overseeing SWSPA's financial health, approving budgets, and ensuring responsible use of resources.
  • Program Development: Guiding the development of valuable resources, training, and support for our members.
  • Advocacy & Outreach: Representing SWSPA to stakeholders, partners, and the broader community to promote the importance of safe supervised visitation.
  • Membership Support: Ensuring SWSPA remains a valuable network for supervised visitation monitors.

Meet Our Board

 Donna  R. McNeil

  • Title/Role on Board: President
  • Professional Background: Experienced non-profit executive.
  • Why they serve:  "My goal is to elevate the standards and support for supervised visitation professionals."
  • Key Expertise/Contributions: Donna's leadership is anchored by extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, notable as the successful lead of Easter Seals Society in Chicago during the 980's. This pivotal role honed key expertise in strategic planning, robust program development serving diverse needs, effective resource mobilization, and impactful community engagement. These skills are directly applied to SWSPA's commitment to uniting supervised parenting professionals globally, driving the establishment of best practices and advocating for the critical resources needed to ensure healthy family connections. 

 Aja M. Trotter

  • Title/Role on Board: Vice President
  • Professional Background: Non-Profit Founder, Leadership & Entrepreneur
  • Why they serve: "I believe deeply in the importance of safe connections for children, and SWSPA's work is vital to that." 
  • Key Expertise/Contributions: A dedicated advocate for families and children, I bring a unique blend of entrepreneurial acumen, non-profit leadership, and a deep understanding of the critical need for standardized, professional supervised parenting time services nationwide. My experience founding The Sister Experience foundation and successfully operating my own business, coupled with my strong family values, fuels my commitment to ensuring safe and supportive environments for children and families navigating challenging circumstances.

 Michelle S. Andraes

  • Title/Role on Board: Secretary
  • Professional Background: Family Management/Volunteer
  • Why they serve: "We've all faced challenges. Let's work together to create a supportive and organized environment for everyone."
  • Key Expertise/Contributions: My key expertise lies in my ability to connect with and support families through challenging transitions. As a former stay-at-home mom who has experienced divorce, I understand the emotional and practical needs of individuals navigating difficult circumstances. My dedication to community service, demonstrated through extensive volunteer work with art-related organizations, has cultivated strong organizational and communication skills, making me a valuable asset as SWSPA Secretary.

Daniel Lenton

  • Title/Role on Board: Board Member
  • Professional Background: Experienced business owner with a strong worth ethic and dedication to quality his background reflects commitment to meticulous attention and positive outcomes.
  • Why they serve: "I believe in the power of supporting families navigating difficult times."
  • Key Expertise/Contributions: His passion for child safety and family will be understanding the importance of strong healthy relationships Focus on teaching life skills commitment to maintenance SWS PAs hi performance and welcoming new members. His business ownership demonstrates ability to manage responsibilities and stuff for excellence.
